This is one of the modern equipment of the Armed Force of the Philippines called "AFP Wargaming Center" where generals conducts planning of their activities.
One activity is the joint and combined exercises of the Philippine Army, Air Force at Navy for them to be united and to have better coordination in terms of emergency responses.
Captain Celeste Frank Sayson, spokesman of the upcoming 32nd iteration of the Philippine-United States Balikatan Exercises explained to the media the capabilities of the AFP Wargaming Center.
"Those TV units and facilities have the capabilities to simulate everything. In fact, we can even calculate through simulation as to where could reach the fuel supply of an aircraft."
Also included in the preparations of the AFP is the possibility of strong calamities that may hit the country such as "The Big One" or the 7.4 magnitude earthquake that might damage Metro Manila.
Capt. Sayson said that the Wargaming Center is where the AFP plan on how to prepare their troops in helping the possible victims of the calamity.
"At this point if we are well-trained in mobilizing large number of people, we can preposition our logistics such as medicine, ambulance, DRRU equipment in different parts of the country."
Meanwhile, the AFP Wargaming Center will be used as the control room of the Balikatan Exercises 2016 next month.
The opening ceremony of the annual Balikatan Exercises is on April 4 at the AFP Officers Club House, Tejeros Hall.
Meanwhile, equipment of the AFP and the US soldiers will be displayed at Clark Air Base on April 9 during the celebration of the Araw ng Kagitingan.
And on April 14 they will conduct a live fire exercise at Crow Valley, Tarlac.
